Overview
The assignment for this project was to create a series of images based around the idea of "culture jamming" and our interpretation of what the term means.
Isolation and solitude are words that are frequently interchanged. In terms, solitude can be a conscious choice by a person or by a group of people. When discussing culture jamming, both of these terms can be used. If you are isolating yourself, you are inhibiting yourself from experiencing different cultures. However, there is an opposite to this... when culture and society somewhat forces you to be set in solitude. These images are a metaphorical representation of that idea... showing a subject isolated in nature and in the world. Alone.
